Red Deer Buck
Red Deer Buck - Cervus elaphus
Red Deer (Cervus elaphus) is one of the largest species of deer in the world and inhabit most of Europe. Recent DNA evidence indicates European Red Deer (Cervus elaphus), Central Asian Red Deer (Cervus affinis), and North American Elk or Wapiti (Cervus canadensis) are three distinct species. Red Deer have been introduced to other areas including New Zealand and Argentina. This Red Deer Buck or Stag is on display in the Global Wildlife Center in Folsom, Louisiana. posted at 10:12 AM
