Pronghorn
Pronghorn Antelope - Antilocapra americana
Prong horn antelope are made to run, and the country they inhabit was made for running ... big, wide open, treeless, full of sage and grass, rolling forever to the horizon. Fences and roads have changed all of that, and a lot of the sagebrush is gone, but we still have a million pronghorn antelope. The pronghorn antelope are pumpkin-orange and white with beautiful black-horns. A good pronghorn antelope buck is compact and lean, weighing 100 to 120 pounds. A pronghorn antelope doe may weigh 75 to 90 pounds.
